Friends of Dan Hersey is committed to making this website usable by people with disabilities. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level as a working standard.

What we’ve done

• Semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and a logical document outline.
• Sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements.
• Keyboard navigation support, including a skip-to-main-content link.
• Alternative text on meaningful images.
• No auto-playing video or animation that conveys information.
• Plain-language summaries on policy pages instead of jargon-heavy text.
